Institutional Capital Advisory ("ICA") is an independent capital markets advisory firm, specializing in investor relations, private placements, and financial advisory in Greater China. We partner with Asia's public and pre-IPO companies to accelerate their growth and to create lasting shareholder value by providing investor relations strategy and communication services. We specialize in the following industries: consumer, internet, TMT, fin-tech, travel, education, advanced manufacturing, and the sharing economy, among others.

We are now looking for candidates to be based in our Shanghai office. The associate role provides an opportunity to lead ICA’s communication with Asia’s leading public listed companies in the Greater China region, including HKEX, Chinese ADR, A-shares and TWSE.

Location: Shanghai, China
On board time: 2018.07

What you will do:
1. Generating industry-wide or company-specific ideas on specific issues or on the back of clients’ need
2. Designing and implementing effective investor relations strategy based on an in-depth understanding of client needs, building a long-term relationship with the clients; attending global investor conferences or roadshows with client management, collecting institution investors’ feedback and generating reports for clients
3. Independently and/or collaboratively writing equity research reports, structuring the research product based on the aforementioned topics; broadcasting and communicating the research product internally and externally
4. Conducting in-depth research on Institutional investors; analysis of shareholding structure and major Institutional shareholder movements for clients

What you will need:
1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics or related fields from top tier universities
2. Internship research experiences in sell-side or buy-side firms, consulting firms, corporate finance, big 4 accounting firms, investor relations a plus
3. Excellent command of English and Mandarin
